Plainfield played a top notch program in Immaculata. Immaculata game plan on offense was to account for Dawud Hicks, Tiaquan Womack, and Chad Lewis. Chad was double teamed all day and hopefully this will make the 6'3"230 lb junior a better player for the next game. Although the Cardinals lost by 27 points there were some outstanding efforts. DaShawn Robinson had over 100 yards in kick off return yards and was the 2nd leading tackler for the Cardinals. Josh Wilson showed that he can be a pass rusher and a run stopper with a couple of stops for negative yards. Dawud continues to absorb double teams and continue his relentless pursuit of any opponent with the ball. Dawud led the Cardinals with tackles. Deion McNeill caught his season long pass of 60 yards for a touch down. This is Deion's 2nd touchdown from a pass in as many games.

Plainfield @ Montgomery
Plainfield defensive team came back to life forcing Montgomery to punt on every possession with the exception of one. If it was not for a fumble on the Cardinals own 11 yard line, the Cards would have held Montgomery scoreless. The offense is better with their execution but they are not completing the plays they should. The Cards left at least 14 points on the field which is something they must solve if they want to progress. Delano Mullings played a very good game along with Deion McNeil. Ricky Barnett gave an excellent effort on the special team side while Tiaquan Womack led the defensive unit.

Plainfield @ Elizabeth
Plainfield's 2 game winning streak came to a halt. The Card's suffered several mistakes that could have affected the outcome of the game.
1) The Cardinals had an uncharacteristic 9 penalties which crushed several drives.
2) One interception in the end zone (-7 points).
3) Fumble going in for the score on the 1 yard line (-7 points).
4) An inadvertent whistle which eliminated a 40 yard pass that gave the Cards a first and goal (-7 points).
But the mistakes and errors were too much to overcome the final out come. The potential out come could have been 34 - 28 in Plainfield's favor.
The final results shadowed a good performance of DiiJon Allen-Jordan. Allen-Jordan threw for 200 yards.

Union @ Plainfield
Plainfield pulled off the biggest upset in several years as the Cardinals defeated the Farmers of Union 14 - 7. The game was nearly a shut out but Union scored with less than 2 minutes in the game. Kell'E Gallimore played an all around outstanding game. His quality punts, interception on defense, and the Cardinals 2 touchdowns led Plainfield to victory. Dawud Hicks led the Cardinals on the defensive side with 11 tackles, 2 for negative yards.
The Cardinals defense has put back to back impressive showings. Another interesting statistical note, Union went for it on 4th down 3 times. The Farmers were successful once. The Cardinals have turned away their opponets 6 out of the last 7 attempts on 4th down. The Cardinals also went nearly 8 quarters of shut out football.
This was the best execution the offense has demonstrated all season. Although this game could have easily seen the Cardinals score at least 28 points. A couple of deep open touch down passes were dropped. The improvement in offense is taking strides.
The defense will be tested when the Cardinals go to visit the Elizabeth Minutemen and their high octane offense.
The offense should continue to take positive steps as they face the worst scoring defense in the conference.
